Höhepunkte auf dem Leuchtfeuerhof

Der September bot einen ganz besonderes Glanzlicht auf dem Leuchtfeuerhof in Ruchheim. Beginnend am zweiten und dritten Wochenende im September freuten sich die Veranstalter über reges Publikumsinteresse zum Tag der offenen Tür und beim EWU-D-Turnier. Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein an beiden Wochenenden gerieten die gezeigten Prüfungen zu einem Paradebeispiel für einen kurzweiligen und schönen Reitsport in entspannter und fairer Atmosphäre. Richterin Evi Bös und Ringsteward Steffi Meschonat nutzten das Sportevent um den Teilnehmern das Turniergeschehen näher zu bringen, indem sie Prüfungsabläufe und Pattern im Vorfeld erklärten und die Wertungen teilweise sogar über die Beschallungsanlage für das Publikum erläuterten. Dies fand großen Anklang und sorgte zusammen Franks Moderation für gute Laune auf den Plätzen.
Im Rahmen des Turniers fand sowohl eine geführte, als auch eine gerittene Gelassenheitsprüfung statt, die auch der Regionalpresse als Aufhänger für einen großen Bericht mit Bild diente.

Für feuchte Augen und langanhaltenden Applaus sorgte die Verabschiedung von den beiden Schulpferden Sanne (24) und Don (23) aus dem aktiven Dienst. Nicht wenige Reiter haben den beiden Pferden ihre ersten Eindrücke im Sattel zu verdanken, zukünftig dürfen die zwei das Leben auf der Koppel genießen und ihren Nachfolgern, den Quarterhorsestuten Annies San Tivio und Skips Kalida zusehen, die den Lehrpferdebestand auf dem Leuchtfeuerhof ergänzen.
